Depends on the car. There are some that make the car shudder/shake every single time, and that gets pretty annoying, fairly quickly.

The Teslas are dumb, but you could easily install downsized electric buses or electric rubber tire trains built to fit in the tunnels, or cybertrucks trucks towing cheaply made passenger trailers with questionable safety. Haul 40+ people per vehicle instead of 3.
