I put together an ahk script that centers most everything on Win7 and XP, including dialogs. The only catch is that sometimes I have to use a key combo to shunt a window to dead center. this is for the usual reason... the system (forgets) where I had a window last time. A tap of Win and the down arrow, centers it…

GG, strange thing with wallets and purses. I have a pet theory about them. Women aren't encouraged to have wallets, so society gives them undersized nothings for wallets. Men can't have purses, so they make do with a bulky laptop bag instead.

The problem with Win7's magnifier, like most of them, is that it's not full screen. It can introduce an uncomfortable sort of myopia, where you have to watch what's being magnified, along with where you actually are on-screen. It's like a sadist's idea of bifocals.
