Nice review of Tony’s character arc. Without spoiling anything from IW, I would say the continuation of Tony’s arc as mentor/father figure to Peter is something I was really glad to see, as both actors seem to have really taken well to that dynamic.

Also a DC metro transplant, from the Philly area.

Listen. I don’t like to use profanity that often. I’m a 34 year-old suburban Caucasian father of 2 small children. I drive a Mazda CX-5. I get excited about paying down my mortgage. The most movement I can muster at a concert is casually bouncing on my knees while keeping my hips rigid. But seriously.

I wouldn’t disagree with calling them “smug,” and I’m not entirely clear on how to consider them “self congratulatory” (although I get a general sense of how that might apply to Ocean’s 12), but for me they (primarily 11 & 13) were just kind of dumb fun of watching the mega cast in a bright, sleek-looking heist film

Airheads was one of those movies that Comedy Central constantly aired back when I was in middle and high school, and I never got bored of it. It’s dumb fluff that was fun to watch with a big, recognizable cast (Hey, Adam Sandler! Hey, one of the ghost busters! And Kramer!)

Mrs. Big and I are equally excited. We were in our early-mid 20s the first time around, and it was good, trashy fun at a point where Real World seasons were a drag, unwiilling to go full moron in concept but still casting actual morons (as a resident I was excited for the DC season, but we couldn’t get past the first

So, what’s your take on this?

The only non-brown lining associated with my likely impending diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease is that I think I might almost have a legitimate reason not to keep Passover this year, or any year going forward.

Is there a Grandpa Marvel? I ask as someone who, other than the occasional Batman graphic novel and Young Justice, has strictly been a Marvel (Comics) fan my whole life.

How about Chevy Chase? Above or below Baldwin?

Wasn’t this essentially the “twist” from one of the more recent Real World seasons? Perhaps not strictly limited to exes, but that’s the way it played out for several of them.

This came to mind. Subway, in human form.

A year later, he’d drag the Buffalo Sabres, kicking and screaming, all the way to the sixth game of the Stanley Cup final.

I was a little surprised they stay away from the K clan in week 1, but I think it was the right move, and only heightens the impact of when they do get around to them (kind of like how John Oliver stayed from Trump for as long as he could).

Chris Long with the effective response. As an Eagles fan, I’ll cheer for this guy wherever he plays the rest of his career, even if it isn’t in Philly.

I’m psyched. I signed up for Hulu, ostensibly to watch Runaways, but have been distracted re-watching all of Community. Simultaneously, I’ve been trying to estimate how much demand there would be for an oral history of The Soup. The wife and I used to date long distance, and so part of our weekend routine was to watch

My brother in-law used to work at EA; every game they published was $20 through the company store, including new releases.

During its first run of syndication in the US, not all of the Namek Saga had even been localized yet, which is why quite of a few of us remember getting to the episode titled “Lightning Balls of Red and Blue! Jheese and Butta Attack Goku,” being stoked to see Goku finally whoop some ass, and then coming back next

Semi-legitimate question, ignoring the “political” implications: is it time to consider signing (or at least working out) Colin Kaepernick? I honestly don’t know enough about NFL offensive “systems” to know whether he’s a good fit (or a better fit than Foles). Seems like the Eagles offense, kind of West-Coasty as it

I agree, I was a little concerned with the first shot of Thano, where you just saw his head. He’s supposed to be large and imposing, and between that shot and Brolin’s voice, I wasn’t quite getting it.
