This was one of those films that seemed to be on Comedy Central constantly in the late 90s. Which means I was constantly watching it (having only been 10 when it was first released in theaters). And it had 2 out of 4 Ghostbusters!
As the (proud? constantly sleep-deprived?) father of two small boys, I’m all too familiar with Blippi. He was a bit of a crutch when the first was unruly, but we learned our lesson. Three anecdotes/observations:
I keep on seeing ads for this and wondering why Maria Hill is showing up on new episodes of New Girl on ABC.
Also zero mention of “the rest will probably be on the PS15, surprise!”
Nice that they kept (or re-recorded?) some of the B-52s intro.
Nice work by Thompson. And Trebek looks like he’s going strong, which is great to see.
I saw a show on the same tour. I only knew Paramore for Misery Business and their song on Guitar Hero, but they were fantastic. It was interesting to see the dichotomy of the crowd; lots of teens there to see paramore, and then older folks (I was in my mid-late 20s?) to see No Doubt.
- Rickon should have zig-zagged.
Uhm...because both involve getting jerked around?
Normally I’d be a little bummed by this. I bought my Switch when it launched, meaning I’ll have had it for under three years before it’s effectively sandwiched by a high- and low-end model. And my inclination is normally to stick with the OG version (as I have with my base PS4).
I was never much of an indie gamer, but I love playing indie games on my Switch. I’ve always had at least two of the three “major” consoles, but was usually too focused on the AAA games.
Brock. Samson.
+1 for Costco. We’ve bought essentially all of our diapers and wipes for both of our boys from them. Anything else comes from Target.
or whether Hollywood has successfully developed a sufficiently robust herd immunity to keep out this sort of racist bullshit in the future.
I’ve developed a fondness for Marsden. He did what he could as my favorite X-Man. Which is to say, very little. I hated how they portrayed Cyclops in those first three movies; he may be an uptight prick at times, but that’s not the entirety of his character. But I digress.
They’re just not in a Good Place right now.
The future Mrs. Big introduced me to Sealab. My high school buddy/college roommate introduced me to Brak. But it was Harvey Birdman that really did it for me.
“He has been an exemplary public servant, judge, teacher, coach, husband, and father,” she said.
I had to turn off her speech on the Senate floor. I would say I’ve never seen anyone shovel so much shit for so long, but then I remember who our president is. What a disgusting attempt to justify her actions.
