I was fortunate(?) enough to be going through a particularly trying time (of my own doing) the days before, of, and since the election, such that the entire electing of Trump and subsequent appointing of the Legion of Doom*  just seemed like some fuzzy, distant TV show playing the background. Which is to say that I’m

I can’t even find the words. Just so...sad.

I remember the GBA promotion. I can say with almost 100% certainty that was my last Toys “R” Us purchase (for myself at least). I bought the system along with Super Mario Advance.

Yup. I was buying gems like Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy III (yeah, yeah, really VI), which might be why I have such fond memories.

Really excited to read this when I’m not at work, but felt compelled to raise a Toys “R” Us tangent:

Agreed. Or option C, which is that Nintendo invests in nextgen tech and competes in the exact same arena as Sony & Microsoft. But they’re behind the eight ball in that regard, and would need a slew of other infrastructure updates (like how it does online play) to level things out.

Eh. As other commenters have shown, those that support Trump are largely entrenched. At this point I’m not even sure his (likely disastrous) tax returns would shake that many folks free.

How is the leg room on the driver side? 6'4" driver here.

Late to the party here, but how’s the driver room? I’m 6'4" with some long legs.

The only exposure I have to Trump supporters is the people that post on a friend of a college-acquaintance’s Facebook posts (if I’m friends with any Trump supporters then they’ve kept awfully quiet).

VR. I didn’t mind the motion control craze (I opted for the Wii), in part because I was a senior in college when it started. I even went in on the music game craze.

Samesies. My favorite games growing up were the SNES JRPGs (FF IV & VI, Super Mario RPG), along with some of the early PS1 RPGs.

I didn’t realize that until after the show finished airing (and I had seen all of Firefly), thank goodness.

Great stuff.

It really is a crime that the games haven’t been ported to anything other than the PSP.

I miss Power Stone. I still remember playing it at the kiosk at Electronics Boutique.

Ugh. That video has nearly 58 million views. 58 million.

A bit late to the party here, but add my vote for this being my favorite Final Fantasy game.

I agree with the points made by others, but what really stood out to me was the following:

I’m no legal scholar (I just play one on television), but does this mean that these individuals and FIFA are likely to have been served with orders not to delete e-mails/destroy materials and that these could be exposed as a result of the court discovery process? Assuming that’s the case, I’m even more excited than I
