Still, rare doesn’t always equal $, especially when it’s that rusty. Most people would never know it was an AWD car, or the difference between this and a half million other ‘88 camrys.

I had an ‘85 camry with a 5 speed manual that was only worth $300 back in the late 90's. There’s no way this would actually be worth close to $3k. Unless toyota camrys somehow have started to appreciate? I don’t think so.
He actually did that, didn’t he... (theoretically)
Good article! I recently purchased a 2007 Volvo S60 for my son with 150k miles on it, and immediately spent another $700 to have the timing set done. This included roller bearings, water pump, and everything else in the kit. As you said, there was no way to know when and if it had ever been done in the past, and that…
Does a rose by any other name not smell as sweet? It’s a shame this is the hill so many have chosen to die on, these are awesome looking cars, can we not just appreciate them for what they are rather than whine about what the automakers want to call them?
“That might indicate” is a lot of speculation. I’ll reserve judgement until they actually hit dealer lots, until then all we know is what they’ve told us. Sooner or later an automaker is going to shake up the electric car market with more reasonably priced mainstream electric cars, and it’s looking like it may be…
I did mention “starting price”. All the publications are pretty much saying it will be priced similar to the GLC, which starts at $40k. That probably won’t get you the 300 mile range model, and it may be a little slower to 60 than 5 seconds, but I’ll bet it will still be worlds nicer than the Hyundai. The GLC 300 my…
If it’s any where near $40k, my money would go to Mercedes for an electric SUV: The Generation EQ will have 300+ mile range and do 0-60 in 5 seconds, for a starting price of $40k.
The 80's produced a lot of good music. This song was the best selling dance track in England for a long time, maybe still. It’s been remixed several times and covered a few times also.
Actually I am in a 4 GC and considering the accord 2.0 touring next as well. It just ticks all the boxes for me, except for RWD. After having a couple RWD cars I think I can be over obsessing about that for a while. I’m not sure I’d be willing to go from a 435 to this, but it’s actually quicker than my 428i.
“Bitten off in a Buick” comes to mind.
I agree, they should have used those tails on the new accord, they are much more pleasant to look at.
I’m glad for this, it is my preference for the shape of a sedan. It’s nice to have choices.
Infiniti is late to the punch. I turned in my G37S at lease end because I wanted a 4 series Gran Coupe, and now 3 years later we are just seeing a concept following this trend. There’s no way I’m buying one of their higher end products when I can buy a similar looking Honda Accord for half the price.
I’m not old enough to remember ALL cars not having power steering, but I am old enough that I got to turn the wheel of a car that didn’t have it optioned. My dad’s old pontiac tempest. I can’t remember what year, but it was an old 3 on the tree v8.
This would be perfect for the gate card I use to get into the parking lot at work. It stays in the car 24-7.
When power steering was developed there wasn’t a huge fuss about it, that would be the closest comparison between the manual to auto conversion. I don’t know too many people these days who would prefer manual steering, in fact you would pretty much need to be a weight lifter to be able to control your car these days…
Are people really so scared of leasing that they would pass on this deal? Lease the car and take the cash. You can purchase at any time by financing the amount still owed, so you can effectively buy it with the discount.
By then, autonomous cars will be able to handle those kinds of speed and reaction times.
Any word on whether the vision coupe concept is the next 6? If it is I’ll take one with the turbo please.
