It all depends on the torque curve. If it makes all the torque at 1500 rpm it will smoke the camry.

Strange it is that although Nissan still will sell you a new 2 seater RWD sports car with alot more hp and torque than this with a manual transmission it is largely ignored. I guess we pine for that which we cannot have.

That’s weird, here in Arkansas the local dealer has 13 of these, with prices ranging from 40-50k.. I’m considering a test drive, although it will be another year before my current lease is up.

This isn’t a defect, its a feature that these cars self-destruct when flooded high enough so they won’t be resold after being salvaged and getting a scrubbed title. Too bad all cars don’t do this.

The real problem is that these types of shenanigans happen in the first place. It’s great when the media shines a light on an instance and that particular example then gets remedied, but less important people just get screwed by the dealership.

You are right, the GLC wheelbase is not quite the same as the current W213 E class. I was referring to the W212 wheelbase, but that one is actually 1mm longer (2873mm vs. 2874mm). I couldn’t remember where I read that, but that was the reason behind that statement.

The GLC actually has the wheelbase from the E class, so much more rear legroom than the C class has. It is vastly more practical than the sedan.

Unfortunately due to legal costs, it is often more expensive to execute someone than to keep them in prison for life.
