The profile of this car is basically the wrx concept from a few years ago, before they went and made the car as it is now. I would be in that car if they had made it like the concept. Please don’t screw it up again Subaru!

Not sure if you’re being sarcastic, but I’m pretty sure they put them on a cargo ship and... uh ship them.

The fact that it was only insured for 1/3 of the actual value tells me they could easily “lose” items that they know can be sold for a lot and then pay the insurance claim, and still make money on the transaction. What a shitty way to do business.

Any vehicle (although usually a truck) that has a train horn installed, especially if it gets blasted in my direction.

That is basically what I was going to say. NP if you live on Oahu, but if you live in any other state, the shipping cost would make it CP.

Yes, let’s use a unit of measurement that could mean different things depending on who you ask.

This car is no Porsche, and you are comparing something that has gained value (Amazon stock) to this car, which would not have gained anything but rust, miles and problems.

Yeah, that’s bullshit. The EPA should mandate them to provide loaners to give more incentive for people to bring their cars in and have it done. Basically VW is crossing their fingers and hoping most people won’t bother.

The fact that this car could have been bought for less than a thousand in the 90’s is what really makes that price a CP for me, there’s no way this is worth more than a grand.

To ensure a higher recall compliance rate, they really should make it illegal for people to sell their non-recalled dirty diesels. The quality or air is the real victim in all this.

No that wasn’t really my point at all. You said that bluetooth wasn’t offered as an option when in fact it is, then you got upset because it costs about 1% more than the base price to get that feature. You act as if it’s a surprise that there are no base non-optioned vehicles available on dealer lots when there really

Bluetooth is included with the premium package. If a person can’t afford $500 for this option, perhaps they should be looking at a less expensive vehicle if that feature is so important. Oh and good luck finding one that doesn’t have at least this package on a dealer lot.

My 2011 EX35 absolutely does bluetooth music streaming, with that same nav system.

Actually the QX50 used to be the EX35/37. the QX70 is what used to be the FX.

I was actually going to suggest a BMW 3 of 4 series with the N20 or N26 4 cylinder turbo. Pretty quick for what it is, excellent gas mileage, and not overwhelmingly expensive.

Nissan Altimas had a HUD option back in the 90’s that were reportedly annoying and lame. New BMW’s have them as part on the “Tech Package” which is simply the nav system and the HUD, but the package costs $1000 more than the nav system alone. Not worth it IMO. I test drove a ‘15 428i Gran Coupe with one, but I didn’t

I actually prefer the looks and utility of the 4 series gran coupe over the 5 series, which can be built nicely for 50...

Mine works flawlessly and I never recall having too much to the core on the inside of the pineapple ring.

I built one of these myself out of the salvaged fan from an old A/C compressor unit, mounted on a piece of plywood cut to the size of my attic door access. When I need into the attic I can lift the whole assembly out of the way. It runs in the garage where the access door is, so when I want to circulate air through

Exactly, you have insured the whole car that doesn’t belong to you. Typically in a lease, the car will be upside down until the end of the lease at which point the finance company hopes it will break even. This is the reason why a lease will always include gap insurance. In that scenario you will be out your down
