Right they occasionally have a known guest star for an episode (Maria Thayer is another, Andy Richter), but anyone recurring is typically unknown. I imagine the more famous guest stars are Andy Daly calling in a favor. Fred Willard was in a few more episodes, but still not that many

I think that is one of the other things I like about the show, the entire cast is basically unknown, even people like Daly and Urbaniak are not exactly known, they are at best that guys

oh also did i mention where you might know Grant from? He is played by James Urbaniak or the voice of Doctor Venture

Yeah I believe this starts to happen more from what I remember. Ok 5 for next time

There is one episode in the next set that I think is my favorite (its the one that initially hooked me on the series). also there is one near the end of season 2 that absolutely breaks him because it calls into question the entire premise of the show

we shall see! Actually one of the most interesting parts of the show is seeing which reviews hurt him the most, because some are obvious (like Divorce) and some are not at all (like Irish). And then some he interprets in the most painful way possible (like Aching).

Suicide… or something worse…

I think the thing about Forrest is that he is not interested in the show because it makes him famous, but because he actually thinks the show gives him purpose and meaning. And this is why you see Grant tempt him back by talking about how important his work is. But yes Grant is his dealer, Josh the intern is his

Road Rage/Orgy:

I finished the first season of Review to discuss with Scrawler (but I'll let her start since she has never seen it before)

pants!

You highlight Drew and Olyphant as the highlights of the show, but the clearly best character was their daughter. I was always more interested in what she was doing than with anything else

Right there has to be some federal law that would be in conflict with the state law in question. Which there is not. They are basically saying "I am a federal officer, therefore only federal laws apply to me"

yeah i sent you an email. we can either finish the season (4 eps) or go a little into season 2 if you want. I don't care either way

The review staff reflects such interesting aspects of Forrest's personalities, two negative, two positive. AJ is the positive acceptance and innocence he goes about his life with. Josh the intern is the courage adn enthusiatic commitment he devotes to any task. Lucille is the hang-ups that plague him that he has to

Yeah I think they mention right up front that it is new. And if not its a good enough meta-reason for the whole weirdness of his wife not knowing what his show is.

Ok before we begin let me say two things about why I love this show: 1) Forrest's relentless commitment to prizing reviewing "life experiences" over actually experiencing life is the saddest ongoing storyline in TV. The man ruins his life for the show and never seems to fully comprehend what he gives up and Andy Daly

oh and if you can't play it on the website let me know and we'll choose a different show

that is exactly what it is. I don't even want to spoil the best examples from season 2 (both of the ones I gave are from the first episode). So lets say 5 for this week? there are going to be 22 episodes total, so not sure of the best way to break that up, but 5 or an occasional 6, or just each season in two chunks

Ok let me sell you on Review because this might be the perfect time to watch it. It stars Andy Daly who if you don't recognize by name will recognize by face since he is in everything. He plays Forrest MacNeil who has a tv show where he reviews "life" such as what is it like to steal? what is it like to go to prom? He
