I wonder about Josh sometimes, but I think his biggest problem is that he isnt assertive. he doesnt try and rock the boat and he and valencia have been together forever (i think they said since high school). he might need to be able to listen to himself and what he needs more.

I agree that White Josh is probably the most well-adjusted character on the show. Though regular Josh actually has a pretty good adjustment, he just got thrown into a confusing love triangle. Oooh yes the romcom is the villain! Yes! Because as you say Paula recognizes not unhealthiness in Rebecca's behavior but romanticizes it because of the romcom.

We always seem to get lucky that shows naturally divide into 4-5 episode chunks so when we are watching we stumble naturally into complete arcs. Textmergency is fantastic though and yes that is a very relateable feeling
