FYI you keep saying Josh when you mean Greg
FYI you keep saying Josh when you mean Greg
I feel that we watched just enough episodes this week to get a complete arc that satisfies so many questions these episodes raise and addresses the lines that are crossed. for instance:
Jurassic Park 2 is actually the worst movie of the four movies in my opinion, 3 actually works well by keeping itself small, whereas world is idiotic but has some visceral thrills despite its idiocy (and some honest to god laughs courtesy of the New Girl guy). 2 is fucking awful though, just a complete mess of a movie
having rewatched Jurassic Park and all of its sequels recently (I had reasons I swear) Jurassic Park is much less of an action movie than I remember but its sequels embrace action movie status (and are the worse for it)
I feel like that is the movie where Day-Lewis got his reputation for getting way too into parts but still delivering insanely good performances
funny story about that speech: when i saw it in the theaters he gives that speech and then the movie is silent for a moment before the credits roll. so he gives it and the movie is silent, the crowd is silent, the credits roll and someone says much louder than intended "wait, thats it?" and everyone in the theater…
this being the first time i have ever seen the brothers i have to say that griffin looks exactly like i imagined and justin looks like i imagined travis to look and vice versa
awww nuts
moody is exactly right, i find myself drifting along while it is happening, but not actually paying much attention
i've seen waiters i've worked with do the chase down thing. and yeah that would eat at me too. a constant example of just how shitty people can be
wow i hope you chased them down and shoved that circled chowder right up their ass
yeah it would be great news and would hopefully make it more commonplace (beside i know Netflix loves their CW shows)
just saw it in the netflix article, maybe CW did a deal with netflix to get their shows on it faster? that would be awesome
five should work. also apparently season 2 is dropping february 11th on netflix, which seems super fast
as surreal as this show is, it has treated emotions fairly realistically, they just can manifest in surreal ways. i believe that when that moment comes it will be treated well
ugh fuck that HIMYM ending. And i liked it better than most.
Having not watched Felicity, I wonder if Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will also indulge in time travel shenanigans? Also rom-coms play it two ways, either the original guy was a jerk and she goes with the new guy, or the new guy is only superficially better and the original guy is actually a great guy. I agree that this show…
hmm remind me about that next time your genre reading comes up, he might be a fun author to recommend
It is so interesting that you don't see the show pushing Greg as the "right" choice. Fascinating.
someone further down the thread reminded me to ask, have you read any Philip K. Dick?
