Kiefer Sutherland does have a new show…

i don't know why i am so attached to page numbers, but i am always really happy when i see them, probably because i still do some reading in hard copy form and it gives me a better sense of how fast im moving through a book

one of Newsradio's best episodes disagrees

which to be fair, is not unusual in politics

it is! he has actually written multiple books, two of which are fiction including this one. It certainly has elements of his classic voice which I describe as the perfectly written vocalization of anger/terror complete with a lot of cursing. plus for his long time readers he has some nice easter eggs

i forgot the AVC did one, I've been using the handy chart seen here https://ton.twitter.com/i/t…
and recommendations from Hat who did the same thing a few years ago

except a lot of books i read have all three, page count, location count and percentage done

and that was what i meant by either it bugs you, or endears you. I find them consistently funny, but i get that people feel like it is intrusive

plus wasn't there like a two week time jump in show after episode 2? 25 days seems just super fast

yes this is very annoying. i know you have pages book, dont give me a location count instead!

you'll fall into one camp later then. I think he is written to be a little annoying but endearing

it helps that it is pretty short, so it doesnt have a lot of time to wear out its welcome

yeah I finished City of Mirrors recently too. There was something about the second book that just felt disposable. Like the obstacles in it were all created to give the characters something to do while they got some development before the end

I liked Steelheart quite a bit, but I think you'll know if its for you almost immediately, because the main character is either funny and engaging or the most annoying sob you ever encountered and I can't see how anyone can form a middle opinion

Loved the Hike. and let me tell you, if you like what you have read so far, the end is amazing

Since the last edition I read the Hike by Drew Magary which was a great fast-paced read, and just about one of the weirdest damn books I've ever seen. Also had a fantastic end.

yet weirdly i have found some of the $200 questions harder than normal

yet it leaves her character always fresh and evergreen. Think about what we would say about Melfi if she was done after two seasons?

it would be funny if the only way Luke knows how to train Jedis is by repeating Yoda-isms.

ah-hah! I knew it. I knew that you were really Rene Descartes!
