hey fellow Philadelphia!

I think the dream sequence woman was supposed to be Livia. it is always supposed to be Livia. But I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of dream symbology so the dream sequences are a bit grin and bear it part of the show for me.

oh man i couldn't stop laughing during that dead penis scene. something about that just struck me as so damn funny

Good point about how the humor was back! These were definitely some funny episodes and I definitely enjoyed them more with the Chrissy intervention and the last episode probably being the two best episodes of the season.

you poor soul

The Strong Silent Type:

I started watching Stranger Things this weekend. Already 4 episodes in and loving it. Very interested to see how it finished up.

I think it is going to be a mix of some characters dying, some characters living but passing on the mantle, and some characters constantly being recast. For instance who wants to watch Thor age? I bet they recast that part at some point. But Iron Man? Specifically Tony Stark? His death will be a huge part of one

ironic considering who the villain was in that movie

I do! the same friends made me a MOnster Factory devotee. I only listen to a few of their podcasts, namely MBMBAM, Adventure Zone, Sawbones, and then Still Buffering. i honestly struggle to fit even that much in my podcast rotation

see I came late to the McElroy empire, so I started with Adventure Zone because my D&D group recommended it, then i dived into some of their other family of podcasts

how can that be your favorite podcast when it isnt even the best podcast with the brothers! Adventure Zone all the way! (but yes Griffin is the funniest and Travis the least funny)

except didnt Batman vs Superman do the thing where it lowered your expectations as far as possible and then somehow still slid under that low low bar like Barbados Slim?

god that is shameful. Now how will you ever know about the gloriousness of Spatula City?

woah woah woah, we are striving for equality here, not some sort of futuristic society

i watched that comedy special the night after his wife died and that My Little Pony bit totally broke me

I think you could have ended the Mary-Louise Parker sentence at "was gorgeous and fun" no qualifier is necessary there because she is always that way

I'm doing fine, and i've been watching other stuff while we are going (thank god for our relatively unpunishing pace), so it isnt dominating my viewing too much. lets keep going.

and by break i mean a different show

absolutely. also if you want a break after next week might be a good time to do so. it just seems this season is getting you down
