Can confirm, I’m in the DC burbs and we had the windows open at my house too. I went shopping in a t-shirt with no jacket and my wife was all, “aren’t you going to get cold like that?” and I said no, it’s almost 70 degrees out. 

I was actually flabbergasted when that tweet came across my feed as I was sitting in my living room with the windows wide open and fans going because it was a balmy, spring weekend in DC in the middle of January.
