I have a Saturn (my original, from 1997, still works!), and while I don’t know why the slot was originally put on it, it was used for a memory cart that you could save your games on.

it’s 4chan for people who think their moderately paying jobs make them too good for 4chan.

Wait, I thought Christians were supposed to be looking forward to Christ’s return in the second coming and/or the rapture. In that case, shouldn’t she be *thanking* Obama?

The world better not end before May 1st, I really want to see The Avengers.

They can, technically. But the Chinese courts would have to stop laughing hysterically at the idea of actually enforcing existing IP laws long enough to spout a terse “lol no” first.

“Excuse me, ma’am? Ma’am!? Do you have a minute to discuss ethics in gaming journalism?” MA’AM?!?”

First Cloney, outfitted in a fedora and overcoat, physically tried to stop Switzer, but she avoided his clutches.

The US Navy has, according to this chart, 94 nuclear reactors at sea. The United States only has 100 commercial nuclear reactors in the country. Kinda sad.

Nope. Sadly, it’s a real thing.

The irony of being “anti-censorship” yet a group that talks over panelists trying to discuss a particular topic.

The major, glaring issues with their stated case is how absurdly wrong it is.

Being against censorship is great. I am against censorship. Are these people focusing their criticism on Australia or Japan or other national bodies that literally censor games? Judging by a quick perusal of their site and topics, not at all.

Nothing shocknig though. These people use the same bulshit non-starter argument the “persecuted Christian” movement has been using. And of course the pull from the exact same demographic.

“Equality” is not the same as “letting anyone say/do what they want.” If you have a convention for equal political/social rights, then the KKK and neo nazis have no place, nor do people who will go around being disruptive, be that blaring bullhorns or getting drunk and barfing on everyone’s shoes or whatever.

They weren’t asked to leave because they have different views. They were asked to leave for disrupting discussion panels.

Nice false quote you got there bucko.

And nothing of value was lost.

While panelists can choose to not answer a question, the problem here is (as the GGers even admitted) their goal wasn’t to have a back and forth with the panel, but rather to disrupt it with a line of derailing questions. So choosing to not answer questions would’ve been used as fuel against the panel just as much as

It’s funny how GG is trying to spin it as “different political opinions are banned!” or “Leftists kick girl gamers out! Misogyny!”
