The issue is developers may understand that, but publishers, who write their paychecks, don’t care. They want game X out on date Y to maximize sales, and don’t care about your game breaking bug or whatever.

At what point did you stop? I mean, the prologue wasn’t that long, and once you got out into the world it was pretty awesome.

The sad thing with killzone was the lore was pretty interesting, the games just stunk at telling it.

The PSVita was the greatest failure in videogame history. By that, I mean it produced more games worth playing, and probably the largest library of any official failure. For folks who like indies, psone classics, niche games, and midtier games, it’s an absolute treasure.

Sounds about right. Duke 3d was actually my first intro into mods, total conversions, etc, as I had never previously played doom.

Overwatch is an actual genre of porn now. It’s that common, well known, and produced.

Though, iirc, fans have since added all kinds of features to the engine. This is due to the way Duke3d released, which allowed anything to be done to the engine in terms of mods short of porting the game to a new engine.

Man, mine ended up with Gaspard exiled, and the elf girl all but leading a rebellion. I didn’t know you could even get her as a court person.

Now it’s been a long time, but when I was in highschool in texas back in the day, If you had less than three absences, and passing grades, you could be exempt from having to take finals.

I think you could do better by just declaring semi-auto centerfire firearms to be class III weapons.

GW2 is almost pure fashion wars, as all items of an equal tier have the same stats, just different looks and different known stat combinations.

Guildwars 2 has crafted stuff like this, and even has super speical gear that’s acquired via collections/scavenger hunts.

That was something of a different beast. People hated finally getting that epic drop, and then having to spend a ton of time and energy to actually be able to use it.
