The sad thing about HOAs is a lot of the good properties out there are bound up in them, leaving you no choice. It’s not an issue if you are single or childless, but for families it’s a real problem. You often want to go to where the good schools are, and that means having to deal with some HOA or another.

Local multi on the game is rather fun. I’ve played it as such on the ps4 a few times. That, dodge, and the nemesis system are what really makes the console versions fun.

IIRC, the lead characters for the game Infamous: Second son were of a fictional pacific northwest native people, and the lead actually had tatoos inspired by similar artwork. His people and their plight are actually the root cause for his actions in the game.

These games already exist. There is no reason for her to act as any sort of content judge or be involved in development in any way for the games to be made.And yes, her sitting on any sort of review for a game would be an act of creative control. Otherwise, it’s just run of the mill focus testing, which many devs…

I keep saying that because a huge number of her detractors, including several in this very comments section, always insist that she ‘put her money where her mouth is’ and make a game, or dismiss her because she doesn’t make games, or play games to some arbitrary bar that qualifies her to speak about them.

Again, that isn’t necessary nor wise. She isn’t after creative control, shes just pointing out what shes seeing in terms of tropes. That’s a perfectly valid thing to do.

What “political commentary”? This is just criticism though the lens of a certain subject area, that is sexual issues. There is nothing inherantly wrong with this, it’s no different then using any other criteria. Nor is it ‘political’ which seems ot just be a common bash for ‘she said somethign I don’t agree with’.

All you have done is show that a critic may not be the best person to actual implement their criticism. Ideally, you have a skilled storyteller do it, much like you have a skilled politician implement the requested changes.
