Same here. Two billion, split between the team would basically let each one retire and spend their lives in leisure. I couldn't pass up that kind of money.

Looks like the proper tool for the job, glad to see the sailors get a hold of it.

I think people are just being snarky, pointing out hat Xbox has exclusive ads for tons of major franchises. They must really be bitter about Destiny getting so much ps4 love though, given it's the biggest new ip in years, and titanfall kind of fell flat.

yeah, but they had contact with starfleet in the last few seasons after that micro wormhole comm array thing was created. they could send and receive logs at least, so i'm not sure why they couldn't get a list of 'promote these people'. After all, Janeway demoted and repromoted Paris at one point.

sounds like it should have been more like a EVE or Star citizen, a very sandbox style game, though with perhaps a storyline to explain adding new planets/races to the world.

This was the entire problem. The show made it worse by having episodes that teased "will they get back this time?" when you knew damn well, on account of it not being ether a season or series finale, that they would not.

Always bothered me that he held the same rank the entire show, despite long being overdue for a promotion. Then again, the whole timeline for promotion thing makes little sense in Trek. In a real navy, few would serve together as long as trek crews do, especially without being promoted.

Goat meat is great if prepared right, but over here, the only place I frequent that even has it is one of the local asian supermarkets. Mainstream grocery stores never have it.

Feminine traits on boys. Once had a local old lady rant to me about how the bible says guys should all have short hair.

Because a lot of Texas schoolboards are populated by ultra-WASP busybodies who decry anything but their conservative views on dress and behavior.

It has nothing to do with opulence, it's about securing a guy who has a list of people who would love to kill him miles long alive long enough to complete his term in office.

Still, it's a item that exists to punish the players winning, and yes, that means the folks in first. Because in the end, coming in first is how you 'win' a race.

I still wouldn't consider that random or luck based, and well, it just reenforces my point: it's a item that solely exist to punish you for winning.

The BS isn't luck based, it's a punishment mechanism given to the last place player to use against the first place player. Luck has nothing to do with it.

Actually, Power fantasy is a thing. For example, Lets look at action hero movies.

Using the term 'sjw' isn't doing you any favors, as i've never seen that used as anything else then a slur.

I never said I was a MK master, I just hate piss poor game design that punishes the people winning. I've found myself at the back of the pack plenty of times when learning a new cart/track/etc.

Apparently better then the person who got the blue shell.

If you find yourself in last place, learn to play the game. Don't punish others for being better then you, that's bad sportsmanship and doesn't help you get better.

So basically, if you are good at a game, and someone else isn't, you should be punished for it? And this is justified by there being harder games out there?
