I guess you can call an 8R a midsize tractor if you want but that’s not what we consider it at Deere. We call anything 7R and bigger part of the  large tractor platform, mid tractor is 5 series and 6 series, anything smaller than a 5 is called a compact tractor.

The 8R isn’t a midsize tractor you’re thinking of a 6R. The 8R is the size tractor that gets most of the productive work done in most of the world. The whole point of the bigger machines is because you can’t find the labor to run the machines 24/7 right now so machines got really big. Now that you’re taking the

I think the prices on those mowers are going to start dropping. Up until know there really hasn’t been that much competition in that market but I think with Deere getting into that game it’s going to start getting serious.

I’m not sure how big your driveway is but toro is already building one that’ll clear 4800 sq ft of snow that’s 10 inches deep, my driveway is about 3300 sq ft so that would work great for me. Or in a couple years you’ll be able to trade that Deere rider in on a battery powered one after Deere bought out a battery

I started replacing my gas powered lawn care stuff with Milwaukee M18 tools about 2 years ago. I’m never buying a gas powered tool again. I’ll probably keep my big chainsaw around because my grandpa gave it to me but outside of that all the small 2 stroke stuff is switched over. Now I need to get the snow blower and

Why have Max hit Lewis when you could have one of the Alpha Tauri cars hit him? You can’t dock Max points for something another team does.

I’d really like to read more up on this carbon capture technology. My employer is planning on dumping a ton of money into it and I’m kind of skeptical but don’t really know much about it. I’d really like to know more about it before forming an opinion.

If the plug in hybrid option was available on the gladiator I’d be at my dealer tomorrow to get one. Personally I think the plug-in part of the hybrid is what we need to eliminate range anxiety while they get charging times figured out on a full on electric cars. This is particularly important for people who don’t

Give it time these side by sides have a really steep depreciation curve. A 2 year old gator costs half of what a new one does at a dealer.

The worst car I ever rode in as a passenger is a Mazda 5. The back seat of a Nissan Rogue is a close second.

We traded a car in for this exact reason. My knees ate the dash in the Mazda 5 we had with our first kid on whatever side the car seat was on. When kid number 2 was on the way we traded it in on a mini-van so I could go too.

Based on all the dents in the poles before the strike I’d say the union guys run those tractors into the wall plenty by themselves.

So the Tundra gets the same mileage as my Tacoma now. I’m not sure if that’s good for the Tundra or bad for the Tacoma.

That’s how it was when I made the trip to COTA 5 years ago. I bet 40% of that crowd were either from Mexico or Mexican-American.

Good thing for the driver the Iowa state legislature made that perfectly legal to hit somebody with your car if they are standing in the middle of the road during a protest. I’m sure all the Trumpers in the UAW here never thought the leopards would eat their face but here we are.

Deere for better or worse doesn’t really do “Brand Engineering” where the slap some stickers and green paint on something built by somebody else. They sort of do that with some excavators in a joint factory with Hitachi but that arrangement is ending sometime in the next couple years from what I understand.

The big box mowers (L-series and ZTraks) are built at the Deere plant in Greenville, TN. I work for Deere I have a pretty good idea where we build stuff.

Deere builds their own mowers in either Wisconsin or Tennessee depending on what size you’re buying.

I’m still a couple years out from looking for a new truck but I’m interested in this. I don’t need a full size but but why would I buy a smaller truck like a Tacoma if this thing gets better mileage? That’s the biggest regret I have about the Taco I have now is the gas mileage compared to the F150 other than that it’s

I used to be an engineer and Viking Pump and that video looks like the whole damn pump exploded not a seal leak. I’m with you that there should be some sort of secondary shutoff.
