Yeah those post war Fords are really nice cars for the time. I just love the sound a flathead V8 makes.
I drove a 50 Ford to my senior prom it was three on the tree and a flathead V8. It was a blast.
The eps does random audits now to confirm engines are meeting regulation. The problem off road engine manufacturers (or any engine really) have is the wide range in emissions regulations across the globe. It'd be great if they could all just build final tier 4 stuff but that adds cost obviously. Some guy in say India…
Three on the tree or fuck em.
I've got two boys myself, the oldest one is 9. It's crossed my mind.
You know, what if her kids are assholes? Maybe they had it coming.
I though Steve sold out of the company quite a while back and just recently got back in because of the shit show it had turned into or am I completely nuts?
This seems like the sort of thing they’ll sell the shit out of in retirement communities. Go to someplace like Sun City in Arizona and you’ll see more golf carts driving around than cars. I can see some of the old retired doctors and lawyers down there eating this up.
With Venezuela being in the shitter both literally and figuratively Pastor getting a ride now would be the racing equivalent of make a kid with Down Syndrome prom king or queen.
bwoah
I'm going to have to show that to my 6 year old. He's obsessed with pugs for some reason.
It's no Shelby Omni but it's still a cool little car. If my kids were just a bit older I might have actually tried to buy that.
Boo. For all it's faults it was still the best American produced car show on tv for a long time.
True story, my grandpa had a Ford jeep he used to scout timber with when he was logging. It broke down with something stupid wrong with it and he left it sit in the middle of nowhere in the Ozarks. He came back a week later with the parts and couldn't find it. He literally lost a jeep.
I lucked out and got to see him when he was on Letterman a few years back. He was really funny I thought. Also I'm pretty sure I was the only person in the crowd that knew who he was.
Cock Roaches, Twinkies and Bernie the only things that will survive the zombie apocalypse.
You guys missed the best part of this. Bernie also said that Baku has a 7 year contract which is longer than he'll be around.
While I didn’t work on the team that developed it my employer sells one of these arrangements and it’s far more efficient than a mechanical transmission to have a small generator driving electric traction motors. Every gear and bearing between the flywheel and the drive wheels give you an efficiency hit and there are…
It's pretty common for ag and construction equipment already to do the same thing with hydraulics and they're moving to the electric drive also every diesel train engine already runs a 1000hp electric motor at the drive wheels. I think it'll work really well for on road trucks.
