Nicely done sir!
I did it again. I made another Gulf liveried 991.1. My hands were very shaky, this time around. I know why, too. Next time I’m in that situation, I will have to just use masking tape. That will be a first. Well, here it is. I hope you still like it!:)
Late for the party, finally a new cast/shoot! This is tiny, it’s a 1/87 by Spark.
Say whuuuuut... The county came and installed a guardrail at Kowalski’s, over the weekend. Then, every drunk in the area proceeded to take their turn on it during evening hours... now Kowalski and I are stuck with this:
I wasn't planning to buy a half dozen VWs today. However logoed VW buses are a minor obsession of mine. Well played M2.
So, uh, I kinda actually did go to Radwood on Sunday. Brought the boy along basically to get him off YouTube for like ten seconds.
Took me 10 years to get one for a decent price.
Spent most of Saturday working on the 1:1 Jeep. Afternoon grocery run meant an
opportunity excuse to visit a couple of indoor flea markets. I was surprised to find a transitional superfast Ford Truck. The front grille is missing, but shouldn’t be too hard to replace if I can find a donor truck.
Some of you may recognize me from Instagram as @hotrod_crazy or for writing helpful diorama “how-to” segments on Mycustomhotwheels.com. But starting today, I am a writer for Live and Let Diecast! I plan to post exclusive diorama photos here, as well as reviews of diecast from 1/64 to 1/24 scale and much more!
I really love digging into the archives for some of my favorite builds. Those of you who have been around for awhile will recall the Super Fly builds from back in May of 2016. This was my entry, the combination of a HW bus and a MB Blizzard Buster to make an Alpine Ambulance. If I had more time I was going to deck it…
My birthday is this Saturday, but I got to open a few presents early, hooray!
There was also a Fandango TH, but I have like six of that so I left it.
And I don’t mean the weather (which is in the 70s, in February...), I mean I have heat again.
I can move back in without a sleeping bag.
But, as long as it’s in the 70s, I have all the windows open for free heat!
I’m almost finished sending out the free cars, just one box to go. I’ll be getting caught up on other HWEPs…
A nice little Tokyo Torque find to start my day.
It’s finally finished.
From one store yesterday!
This is a Tomica Limited Lexus LFA Nürburgring, which came from a boxset of 5 LFA models and a replica LFA key.
