If you listen to some of his standup he very much comes across as the libertarian, “personal responsibility” type. It was always there, but that it’s becoming more apparent is unfortunate.
He was crude but insightful. Sometimes.

So you have a young one. Mine are 13/14 and refer to me as “dad” and “daddy” alternately. I don’t think I’ll ever tell them what to call me, but I do see them referring to me as “dad” more often now.
