I think you're just trying to over complicate things... It means what it means, in this case what they're able to do in the game.

Except that's not true at all. The shows with the most ratings are actually kids shows, like Sazae-san and Doraemon followed by the shounen stuff, like One Piece and Detective Conan. No moe at the top really.

I enjoyed the silliness, it may not have been the greatest storytelling, but was a great insight into Tomino's mind(and depression) at the time. Kind of like the difference in Eva and the rebuild movies(although a lot more silly) in relation to Anno's state of mind. Real nifty stuff.

I hear you and to reiterate: watch 8th again. Even withing the more realistic UC universe it stands as a very grounded story, at least more relatable than all those other stories about chosen new types and what-not. Very unique at least.

Yeah all the ones he listed are the main storyline(Universal Century), all the others are basically stand alone universes(G is Future Century, Wing is After Colony, Turn-A is Correct Century, Seed is Cosmic Era and 00 is actually Anno Domini[which is the real world, basically])

G was ridiculously fun, but Seed? Really? That's just a worse rehash of the original. Wing is fine I guess... So, did you ever watch any of the good ones(Z, Char's, 8th, etc.) or is it that you just prefer the action stuff?

Well I think everyone is crazy! Z Gundam is clearly the best :D Though 8th MS Team is probably my 2nd favorite.

Also take into consideration that most of their magazines are weekly or biweekly. It's way easier to have relevant news like that, than with a monthly thing.
