Ok, stupid question but something I’ve never understood. If the Tigers were to trade Miggy, why would the new team be on the hook for his contract? He signed it with Detroit, so why should another team honor it?

And are they pushing for all to become subservient to this law? Do they believe in convert or die or pay a non Muslim tax?
