They just did the “Bitch Session” episode of NewsRadio. No one could’ve done it as well as that show, but they came pretty close. Still, it’s amazing how similar it is. Also it’s pretty amusing that there was also a Kid in the Hall present in both episodes.

You probably think so, right? Notice how both franchises aimed at female audience were both derided from the get-go, never really earning a title of “stupid fun”, which many male-aimed movies and shows get despite being technically not really good.

Where’s your data coming from again?

As always, it’s male wish-fulfillment. I’d be much more interested seeing younger Ed arriving and Kelly having all of his character work. She had her own, granted, but it’s still very gender-standard storytelling.

That’s why it’s a good thing that the comedy will be done by someone else.

Thanks, I, indeed, stand corrected.

The Hobbies Rapp sounded a bit like the Lonely Island dropped by to make just a tiny bit less energetic take on their good old days digital shorts, especially “Like a Boss”. It was heartwarming.

So that’s gonna be Craig breaking the dialogue to look directly into the camera with an acidic comment?

Was that, by chance, a male writer?

This amazes me. This show is probably the most overqualified piece of really mediocre storytelling around. I’m sticking with it out of pure curiosity and enthusiasm for those actresses by now. But, like, it just keeps on repeating itself. And everything just hangs on the same exact plot device. Over and over. The same

The most disgusting thing is how short their sentences are and how relaxed it all is for them.

I had a pet theory that she’s gonna be in a polyamorous relationship with all three of them. I loved the finale, but... I could’ve seen it from a mile away. I’m so used to the show pulling the rug from under me that I was half-expecting it to pull a crazy stunt like that, once again defying everything we’ve come to

It’s scary that RT has it at 50%. And the positive reviews all come from Catholic reviewers and/or mention “Hollywood pro-choice agenda”. It’s happening. Their point of view is slowly crawling to cultural relevance in media.

Edward Norton?

Love your column, but you totally lost me with your Birdman comment. First time around I sat through the whole movie with my open mouth, eyes wide open, excited beyond belief. Since then I’ve watched it probably four or five more times, each time as joyful as ever. It’s a beautiful movie.

The person who calls impressions impersonations doesn’t understand what he’s doing.

Just recently rewatched the pilot of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. His cameo was great.

Eh. Lizardo seemed to like it. I know him from old AV Club. I don’t know you, and you don’t seem to be particularly pleasant for me to want to get to know you. So, um, bye?

Huh? I was joking. Do you know how jokes work? I took what Lizardo said and applied it do a different part of that headline.

I’m sorry no headline ever asked you about your day.
