Green definitely has had one of the more interesting director careers. Randomly pivoting from acclaimed indie movies to Danny McBride stoner movies and then pivoting to horror movie reboots (with Danny McBride writing) is kind of unique in terms of career paths.

The 2018 Halloween worked extremely well for me. Mostly because it felt like a pretty refreshing back to basics slasher that restored the surreal nightmare level of Michael, along with a lot of well done little character beats and anchored by Jamie Lee Curtis kicking ass.
