Gotham Knights isn’t set in the arkham world. Becuase Montreal didn’t create it. Rocksteady did. Montreal used it for Origins but never owned the arkham world.

Sucide squad is fully open world too. Avengers wasn’t. This game has a massive and open metropolis to explore.

Have you actually watched the footage? All the footage? It’s a hell of a lot more than guns. Each character has unique movesets like you want. Shark eats people. Harley uses her baseball bat. Boomerang uses his boomerangs. Yes, they all use guns, but each character has unique moves and abilities. Have you watched all

They don’t play exactly the same, each character has unique abilities. Boomerang uses the speedforce and his boomerang. Deadshot uses sniper attacks. Harley has her bat and acrobat moves. Shark freaking eats people. Control exactly the same? Not even close.

WB: If you don’t like it, don’t buy it.

I love the arkham games endlessly, but come on, those were loaded with DLC, purchsible skins and season passes. Them doing a cosmetic battlepass is hardly some massive catastrophic swerve from out of nowhere.

Nothing to do thematically with the suicide squad? Waller, and by extension, the US government are sending in disposable villain soldiers into a sci-fi warzone to deal with a rogue band of superheroes who will likely murder anything in their path. That is EXACTLY on point for what the suicide squad are. Dumped into a

What gave you the impression, at any stage in development and marketing, that this was going to have Arkham gameplay?

They literally showed the four characters using guns in the 2020 debut trailer and said back then this was a 4 player game. If you thought you were getting Arkham gameplay, you were blatantly ignoring what they were showing you.

This is like saying “Legends of Tomorrow is in the same universe as Arrow! How come Legends is all colourful mad time travel fun and not grim and realistic like Arrow?

Harley has always used guns. The State of play also touched on there being crazy guns. They showed off a Bane gun that fires Venom acid and stated there’ll be more crazy guns like that, with gun manufactuers doing different styles of weapons.

Batman handles like Batman. None of the squad are Batman. So people going “We thought this would be like those Batman games”are deluding themselves.

His several seasons long relationship with Willa has also been wonderful. They’re both clearly using each other to some degree, but there’s simultaneously a lot of genuine love there. No one really has a healthy relationship with their loved ones on this show, but Connor comes the closest by quite a large mark.

Even when he’s just sitting there silently, he projects so much malice and power.

One of several reasons why I have tired of Jeremy Strong, both as an actor and his character, is that his far more showy character has stolen a lot of accolades from the supporting cast who have been kicking ass for years. It’s why I was delighted that Matthew Macfayden finally got his long overdue love. Ruck

As someone who has long felt that Cox’s fire performances have been the most exciting parts of the show, I worry a bit about the prospect of 7 episodes without him.

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

I think the episode runtime creeping upwards has been one element of it. Episodes in the first 8 seasons are always a tight 30 minutes or a little under. Season 9 onwards, they creep up to 40, sometimes nearly 50 minutes. It throws the flow off a bit. Probably not helped that the show is never scripted traditionally,

I really love curb, but didn't overly care for season 11. The central story was all over the place and no episode or even particular scene stood out. I do will always be glad it's being made. Hopefully season 12 is another great one. Their batting average has been largely stellar.

When the sources are the daily mail and the sun, I sincerely doubt any story.
