I sure as hell wouldn’t want to work for zaslav or deal with Snyder fans. And I freaking love DC and Lin clearly did too.

Dan lin had a literally seconds long podcast comment from months back when he (maybe jokingly) called Snyder fans bots. So the second Lin was said to be in the running, THAT got immediately blown up by the Snyder fans. So make no mistake, Dan Lin got a slight taste of this kind of Snyder fan bullshit and undoubtedly

See, they want DC to actually succeed. Not hand it back to Snyder to destroy even further than he already did

Well, Zaslav has immediately pissed off Paul Dini by killing scoob 2, likely pissed off Bruce Timm by cutting off caped crusader and has largely pissed off the wider animation industry by removing infinity train and all those other animated shows from hbo max. So I sincerely doubt anyone working on DC animated movies

To be fair, Wilde has been digging her own hole. Her using Shia drama to promote herself, and then Shia snapping back with actual evidence is a terrible look. She also seems to in conflict with Florence, since Florence has wanted to steer away from sexual content in the movie and Wilde is proudly boasting about it.

Based on the reviews for it, I sincerely doubt it. Pugh will be fine. The movie won’t be.

I love that's the joke though. The same with Al having nothing but love for his parents, but here they oppose his dreams of music because that's what every biopic has.

Dewey cox was real, and nothing you or society says will convince me otherwise.

I assume that among other things, it’s poking fun at Freddy Mercury’s voice being dubbed over Rami Malek.

I guess this is kind of related, but I thought it was kind of snarky Olivia Wilde being bitter about those court documents being served. I have no idea who to believe in the wilde/shia feud and nor do I particularly care. But this has suddenly become more interesting. Not to mention those reports that Pugh is icing

Batgirl had Brendan Fraser as a supervillain. It’s literally impossible that could have been bad. Fraser elevates everything. The closest Morbius had was that scene of Matt Smith dancing.

You’ll take your Ultor corporation references and be happy!

I’m largely fine with Nathan Drake being a cheerful family man who murders endless people. Those people are bad people and the game has a bit of a “kill or be killed” vibe and Nathan never seeks out opportunities to kill people and would be completely happy to find treasure without murder.

I think it’s simply reduced expectations. We get angry at Konami because we know the great things they have. We get angry at EA, Square and Ubisoft because they have a strangle hold over some iconic franchises they enjoy running into the ground.

I wholeheartedly second your praise for GTA V and GTA online. I deeply love saints row, but it's weird to say GTA became serious when everything in GTA V and online is joyfully mad. Sure not, you know, super powered president fighting aliens mad, but definitely not Niko Bellic grim.

I’m certain SR4's gleeful insanity wasn’t for everyone, but good lord, I love that ridiculous game. It helps that the series gradually built up to super powered president fighting an alien empire while transformers music plays. If that was entry 1, it wouldn’t work as well.

David dastmalchian definitely will. He’s consistently great in everything. He just needs the right role to get him awards renown. He’s already loved by a lot of top directors.

I know the av club is falling apart, but that headline and image combination is perfect.

The main message of that flashback was walt telling Jesse that he has his whole life ahead of him and that walt envies the freedom Jesse has and the unlimited potential. Even walt misremebering the high school graduation was framed as "you won't have to cook meth for long. You have intelligence and you can do so

There was that. But the main thing from Jesse’s flashback was walt telling him he has his whole life ahead of him and walt envies jesse for having time and freedom to do that.
