If nothing else, flux was seldom boring, and considering boredom is the default Chibnall reaction from me, I’ll take this is as a sharp improvement. The majority of non-writing elements felt much better this season. The music has improved dramatically, the characters are more likable and the performances have improved

The break up of their production company was entirely due to differing interests. Ferrell has producer credits on things like succession that he has absolutely no involvement or interest in.

I really wanted to love vice, but vice was such an insufferably smug movie.

Ferrell is a capable actor when used correctly and given the right material. He was clearly passionate for this lakers show, and mixed with his longest artistic partner, would have given his all here.

To be fair, McKay also comes off as seeming incredibly upset and well aware he was in the wrong. The article says that McKay kept their production company going for years after it was logical to end it because he was scared of losing his friend. Ferrell in his recent profile has said he largely wants to do silly

It would have probably made Ferrell angrier at McKay. Reilly does the honourable thing and reaches out while McKay throws him under the bus.

I haven't seen the movie but I hear Leto is very over the top and "italian" to an almost racist extent.

I find it hilarious that this is at least the third time that Ridley Scott has hired an actor incorrect for the role and just coated them in absurd and distracting make up. Guy Pearce in Prometheus. Kevin spacey in all the money. Leto in this. Pearce was at least a great actor and spacey was mercifully recast. It’s

I was ready to love inherent vice and had so much trouble actually watching it, let alone following it. The master is my favourite.

The counsellor is criminally underrated. It's gleefully batshit insane from start to end. It deserves more love. I'll also die defending prometheus.

I remember baby driver even came out on DVD right when the allegations were breaking out and it was immediately disturbing to remember baby driver. Which is a shame, because baby driver was a fun movie.

The trailer for this looked like it was playing the tone of the games dead serious, which is always a terrible mistake. The Anderson films always felt like they were kind of aware they were stupid.

Mesmerising is a great word for it. I’ll take a memorable engaging trainwreck that has some actual identity and sense of mad scientist failure over a drab nothing failure. Eddie Remdayne was shockingly bad in that film, but for me it’s the only performance that I actually enjoy of his.

I kind of loved seeing it. A friend and I saw it in a deserted cinema and we spent the whole film just laughing at it. The wachowski sisters may have made a bad movie there, but it sure wasn't boring.

Even in good movies, he’s the worst part of it. He’s the weakest actor in Chicago 7 by a considerable margin. It’s not helped that he has the most absurdly Oscar bait speeches in that largely enjoyable movie.

I like to imagine that Redmayne does every interview as a whisper yelling combo like his Jupiter ascending character.

While being hilarious, the wet bandits are also threatening as hell. They had zero qualms threatening a small child with violence to get what they wanted. It makes it fitting when they themselves get brutally tortured. They were willing to do far worse.

The 2016 hitman has a hilarious Home Alone homage level where they made unofficial wet bandits as targets. They even gave not Harry and not Marv an adorable backstory where they met as kids and teamed up to rob from the rich, complete with references that they fled to Europe after a series of failed robberies in

I completely agree about everything said about the deadwood movie. In a lot of way, that movie had the easiest job of all. All Milch had to do was end the series.

Boba fett comes out in late December and is basically mandalorian season 2.5. Then obi-wan is in the can with the ashoka show behind that.
