His ideas seemed pretty lousy though. Not that Rise was particularly good.

As someone who feels that Ferrell is capable of a lot of depth and sadness as an actor, I’m excited for this series to hopefully showcase that. He’s often far more talented than some of the lazier comedies he’s made.

Those crappy toys wouldn’t have sold themselves.

You’ll take Elizabeth Debecki as Diana in season 5 of the crown and you’ll damn well enjoy it!

Fictional Larry David is probably still on the outs with HBO after the shrimp incident way back in season 2. HBO is also likely more than willing to poke fun at Netflix.

It seems a little silly to blame Netflix for this, when Sony are the ones who did this years ago. It's been playing in syndication, digital distribution and other streaming services in this ratio for years now.

When Paddington Bear says anything, on any subject, you damn well report it.

Now I really want Jamie to be the new Bond. At the climax he could just terrify the villain into submission by threatening to shove an Ipod up the villain’s cock.

Only PTA can use a song as played out as life on Mars and make it feel fresh. Well, him and Trent Reznor.

Variety reported this month that a dead boy detective series is in the pilot planning stage. Weirdly the actors from doom patrol aren't attached yet, but it is apparently being planned as a doom patrol spin-off. The third episode really did feel like an extended back door pilot for the characters, not that I mind,

Several of the actors are really great. Law, Mikklesen, Fogler, waterson and a handful of other ones. I just wish they weren’t all trapped in the narrative hell Rowling made for them.

FB2 is filled with so much baffling insanity. A world revolving around the most boring zoo keeper in history. Memory erasure spells that don’t erase memory. Beloved characters abruptly turning into psychotic monsters. Depp having a shocking plan to start a war with muggles to prevent the holocaust and the glorious

I assume Mads has to eat as well and the studio likely threw good money at him, because at least when those Depp nutjob people wail and moan, they can at least say “But we got sexy Mads in now!”

Reasons to consider caring about this film:

I enjoyed season 4 of the crown, but a lot of the straight sweep was baffling. Claire Foy won guest actor for a literal cameo of her reading a speech at a desk. Menzies did absolutely nothing of note this season, but somehow beat Williams. Gillian Anderson was kind of over the top but so damn fun as Thatcher that I

Given a lot of the crap he has on his CV, he’s likely enjoying his lightning in a bottle moment as long as he can.

Did Philip even get a proper episode in season 4 of the crown? Or even a scene worth remembering? He was quite good in a sad and pathetic way in season 3 (if memory serves, that moon landing episode was particularly great). But aside from his funny line in season 4 that he immediately and 100% considered Anne his

This was very much one of those “both sides are terrible” lawsuits. Of the two, epic deserved to lose more, due to their melodramatic insanity and the absurd notion that Epic is somehow a plucky little indie company fighting Goliath.

Lana also worked on the second season of sense8 by herself. So I guess she feels comfortable with her creative stuff now.

Reloaded gets a hard rap. The action in that is jaw dropping and the actors are a blast. Revolutions has many issues, but there’s still great stuff there. Particularly the trainman and Hugo Weaving giving his final batshit crazy performance as Smith. The actor who played the real world Smith is also criminally
