I think it makes sense narratively. The First Doctor had obviously never regenerated before and it looks like Moffat is about to use both Doctors' hesitation about the process to allow them to come to terms with it together, ensuring Twelve relents and allows himself to change into Thirteen.

This was absolutely wonderful and was everything I wanted from the finale, but feared we wouldn't get (as Moffat sometimes slips up when it comes to resolving the second part of a really great two-parter).

I feel you, man. For the first time in ten years, I'm looking at what Chibnall has done for Doctor Who (vomits over the script for Cyberwoman) and wondering if this is where my journey with the show ends.

I swear they made him taller this season.

I look at that photo and all I can think is that he should play Keanu's younger, slightly less-handsome, tea-drinking brother in something.

Ah, thanks!

Which media figure was she portraying in this episode? I've picked up on all of the others within seconds, but this episode I was completely baffled.

Should I be worried that he's only signed for two season? :(

50 Cent has told journalists that, if they want to know more about his opinion of the movie, they can find him in da club, bottle full of bub.

You'd know, pig.

If I could give you two likes, just for using the theme tune of "Sharky & George" - a cartoon I thought nobody remembered but me - I most certainly would.

On the plus / minus side, Tom Cruise collects you when you die by exploding through your nearest door, putting an arm around you, and then firing a grappling gun into the sky.

I wasn't familiar with the actor until this show but now I'm a big fan. Sweeeney has rapidly become my favorite character on this show and his interactions with Laura have vast improved that character for me (as I wasn't really sold on her during her introduction).

Yeah, I really enjoyed this episode, and "Extremis" was great, but you can tell Moffat thought he'd been done by "The Husbands Of River Song". It feels largely like a season done out of obligation rather than love, to me.

He can be seen wearing a hat (not a fez but…. well I'm not sure what it is) in some of the trailer, and the voice Myers is using sounds uncannily like Cooper.

He's totally doing a parody of Tommy Cooper, isn't he?

Thanks for the reminder. That was a great episode!
