I don't think Simm ever seemed really comfortable when he was asked to play the crazier side of the character, whereas Gomez completely inhabits that particular aspect of the character. Then again, some of it probably comes down to the writing too. I always thought RTD wrote The Master like a Scooby Doo villain,

You know, it must be difficult deciding what kind of fashion a gender-swapped and villainous Time Lord might go for (especially when there haven't been many Time Ladies on the show) but, whoever decided she should mimic everyone's favorite Edwardian nanny really nailed it.

"I also like how they haven't went down the obvious route of making Nardole an idiot." Me too! I think I just like having three people in the TARDIS. It's a good number.

Yeah, the show has made me smile quite a few times recently but the Pope reveal (and the stunned reactions of the two women) made me burst out laughing. One of the things I've enjoyed about Nu-Who (as I don't remember it featuring so prominently in the classic show) is its willingness to make the audience chuckle

I love the little, wistful smile McGregor allows Ray after the comment about nobody wearing any shoes at the wedding. You can tell it's a happy memory for him.

The look of incredible sadness in his eyes when Emmit snarls "What are you good for?" at him was utterly heartbreaking to me.

There's been a lot of debate about which song on the album is about Taylor Swift. I, for one, would put my money on the song "I Wish You A Swift Death, Taylor. Swift Death, I Said!"

JUDGE HER

I agree. Series Five has one of my absolute favorite arcs, and I think (as flawed as it was) the River Song story arc is kind of amazing when you look at how it all fits together.

I've always been more of a fan of the horror stuff on Who, going all the way back to my first viewing of "The Curse Of Fenric", and, whilst last week's episode didn't work for me, I thought this was really good. Jamie Mathieson might be my favorite writer of the Moffat era and (along with "Flatline" and "Mummy On The

Evil Thgin Yadrutas

I'm not sure why you've made this comment in response to me as I didn't use any of these terms.

Woah. Calm down. Just because a lot of people like a show you don't, there's no need to start swearing and insulting people.

Any idea who voiced the scientist guy in the final animated segment (the one who congratulates the little robot and tells him to power down)? I thought it might be Thewlis due to the accent but it didn't really sound like him at all.

Oh, I certainly agree about River. I never had any issues with the character and never really understood the hatred some people had for her. It's simply an age thing, I suppose. It just felt as though she had more chemistry with the older Twelve than the younger Eleven.

Wasn't that Moneypenny? I don't remember him "boming" her, just flirting with her.

Brandied, you're a fine girl.

Yes, Sandman from the Marvel comics. Neil Gaiman spent several years writing about Flint Marko's road trip across the United States in search of "the perfect beach" and the existential crisis he suffered throughout. I very much recommend reading it.

I don't know about that. Personally, I think season two was one of the weakest whilst seasons six and nine are probably my favorites. Each to our own, I guess.
