I'm so happy right now, that I may explode into little balls of happiness which, in turn, will produce little happy plants with leaves that taste like pure happiness.

On a stage? That's pretty cool. I'm only familiar with her from her television work (notably "Peaky Blinders" and "Penny Dreadful") and movies (i.e "Skyfall"), but I'd imagine she's great to watch live. A fantastic actress. Severely under-rated.
What? Noooo! That was the best scene!
My thoughts exactly. It's a fine line but the performance and (in episodes such as this) the writing manage to frame it in that exact way.
I miss the screwdriver and hope they bring it back, but I do love the idea that Capaldi's Doctor has modelled himself as an ageing rockstar, ala Mick Jagger.
I still love the German Daleks from "Journey's End".
That would be adorable.
Yeah, I loved that line too. I also liked Capaldi-Doc declaring that he assumed everyone around him became more intelligent through osmosis.
Helen McCrory would be perfect as the female version of Capaldi's Doctor. I can totally see her being badass whilst struggling to emphasise with the people dying around her, and being continually chided by her companions for it.
Thought this episode was fantastic.
Iain de Caestecker is the best actor on this show.
Then your cup of tea is TERRIBLE!
Best actor on the show, and I'm not joking.
I can't say I agree with you. It DID mine classic Who - specifically "Genesis Of The Daleks" and Four's dilemma about killing a dictator as a child - for the storyline played out here, and most certainly wasn't portrayed as a parody.
One of my favorite moments in all eight seasons of nu-Who!
:(
Incidentally, David Cameron's favorite muscian is Piggy Stardust.
This comment deserves more up-votes!
Yeah, I've always loved those names and I hope the show never explains them. I like the fact we hear The Doctor mention their part in the Time War and we're simply left to imagine what they must have been.
Wow. I've not come across anyone who didn't like that episode. I personally thought it was fantastic!
