Would it be possible for io9 and/or Gizmodo Special Projects Desk to do a well-researched in-depth report on the prevelence of these incidents in the science fiction communities (both journalistic and creative), and why they are so pernicious, how they have evolved, and how we can expect things to evolve going forward?

I’m sure that’s the case. An eye patch would be a pain in the ass. It was digital for Ragnarok, but maybe they didn’t want to stretch the budget another $200,000 to replicate a $5 piece of plastic. That said, I still prefer the eye patch from a narrative standpoint.

I hate the idea that everything has to be accessible to everyone. It is Deadpool: The Merc with a Mouth. He’s well known for being excessively violent and foul mouthed. If you dilute that down to a PG-13 level, you lose an aspect of what Deadpool is. I imagine it’d still be funny, but not the same.

As an also old guy, the idea of spending as much on a controller as I did on my damn console causes my bursitis to flare up. Welp, time to go yell at a cloud!
