I would have been disappointed if he had told disney ‘no thanks’ - I would have understood, and I would have backed his decision. But I would have been disappointed not to see his version of GoG3.

oh good, it’s not just me. I’ve been re-watching season 1 and I fast-forward through the opening credits. They’re kinda annoying.

but - where do we hear about ‘declining attendance’ from? I get the feeling that the movie industry uses carefully chosen statistics to suggest fewer movie-goers. But how can moves be breaking records for $$ made if no one is going to the movies?

do you really think theaters are endangered? Despite the advent of TV, VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, streaming - there are still theaters. They still bring in crowds. People still enjoy going.

prices near me are around $10.00 - but, $10.00 for one movie vs around $15.00 (or less) for a month of movies with Netflix, which seems a better deal? :-)

not much of a re-cap... I planned on re-watching season 1 before season two anyway. Looking forward to this though. 

People go to the movies to see the actors. Not to see the guy who spots Spiderman (or, Spiderman’s stunt double).

Season 1 was certainly uneven. But it seemed to get better each week. Season 2 started at the strongest point of season 1 and keeps improving. Some shows need time to find their rhythm. I’m glad this show was given time enough to grow.

looking forward to this! Arthur’s step-dad (how are your feet?) was an interesting twist at the end. The new characters look cool too. I hope we get the entire season at once. I kept forgetting about the second half of season one

as someone else pointed out - Killmonger’s mother was from Oakland, and likely descended from slaves. Given his upbringing, I’m guessing Killmonger identified more with his mother’s ancestry than his father’s.
