You probably need to also consider - if the actors will be seen as heroes or villains for breaking contracts. Other studios might not want to hire someone who would walk out. Some fans might feel betrayed and not want to see any movie with these actors... which would result in much more loss of revenue.

Wait Till Your Father Gets Home - I’d totally forgotten about this. I remember seeing it as a kid, but I have no memory of what it was actually about.

You can get the PBS version on DVD or watch on YouTube. It’s dated, but still a decent adaptation. I’ve watched my copy a few times (still prefer the novel...).

it was rather awful. As I recall, they tried to turn it into a romance. I could be wrong though since I gave up watching part-way through.

The original PBS version was my first exposure to Le Guin. I found it fascinating. I re-read the novel every few years and each time I find something new.

not entirely true. I was looking forward to Guardians/3 but I will not be seeing it (or any other disney) movie. I have no illusions this will hurt disney’s bottom line. I’m doing this because I don’t believe the punishment fit the crime. 

Guess we can just look to Dave Bautista for an example of honor and standing up for what one feels is right instead of going to the movies (I’m not going to see any disney movies unless Gunn is rehired).
