There’s a reason everyone I know with a sunroof keeps the shade closed 95% of the time.

No GPS signal causing a reboot loop doesn’t sound right. My non-Lexus vehicles basically just say no GPS signal in an icon or message but everything else still works fine.
The good ol’ Chevrolet Cavalier: Always broke, never dead.
It’s pretty shocking that a government still exists that can do anything on budget and schedule.
Not really. Long/Metric = tonne. Short/US = ton. Not anywhere near as bull shit as using pounds for both force and mass.
Or you can jusg go buy a newish a V6 Camry or Accord and outrun pretty much any of these and not have any maintenance costs for the next decade.
Throwing “free” and “no cost” around a lot for something with monthly dues...
I know! If real, the kid would have kept his nose buried in the phone and never noticed the car moving.
I see they’re going the Cadillac route: Start with building capable and competitive cars that no one buys and then start building CUVs/SUVs that might actually sell.
So after reading the entire artical, which I know is rare around here, why are the headline and comments mainly focused on GM? Looked to me like Daimler and BMW are right there with them.
2007, timing belts, that many miles...has to be the 4.7 2UZ. Not the biggest Toyota fan but the UZ was a beast.
This opens up a whole new brand to sell FWD Altima based vehicles with a VQ and CVT. Montero, Galant, Eclipse, 3000GT the possibilities are endless!
Gotta love big companies. When shit goes down, the execs have nothing to do with it and the layers of management kept them in the dark. When something good happens, it couldn’t have been done without them and they all deserve at least a million dollar bonus.
I’m starting to wonder who’s more delusional, Sergio or Elon.
Is Lucas Electronics make the electrical system for the new Volvos?
Yes and on top of that, GM has a new 3.6 V6 (LGX) and an 8 speed auto (or a 10 speed is around the corner) they could throw in whenever they’re ready to add some more power and increase fuel efficiency. But since they’re already the most powerful and fuel efficient why spend the money right now. Maybe the new Ranger…
I agree. It’s high maintenance, short lived, drinks oil as fast as similar displacement engines drink fuel, drinks gas faster then a large V8, and produces torque rivaling my lawn mower. Yeah, the rotary is shit and I’d rather have an LS.
The best (worst?) part is they’re letting their bread an butter vehicles wither while the try and “revitalize” nonprofitable lines. Everything in the US portfolio is getting old. The Charger, 300, and Grand Cherokee will be going into their 7th model year in 2017 and the Ram will be goino into its 9th. They can’t ride…
That was my first thought. If you fix most of the broken stuff on the Honda you might as well keep it.
Well at least the window switches came out of the MB parts bin.
