I'm not getting the sarcasm in the headline. Are you implying that the tsunami was the work of a vengeful video game water god?

@nerfwarrior: Yes. Please win now.
Hello Kotakuites.
@Innes McEvoy: 1
Hello fellow Kotakuites. I thought some of you might be interested in a cool event kicking off next week.
@Sidiyan: I understand what you're saying, yes. Like I said, if this turns out to be a remake of Super Mario World or some weird new 3D Mario game, I imagine I'll feel differently. I'm just going off of the article, which seems to be favoring the view it's a NSMB game, based on the image. But you're right; while…
Nintendo series that deserve an entry on the 3DS more than New Super Mario Bros:
@Cobaltios: There is a lot of 3D, but not on the level I'm talking about. And because Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and a handful of other games have proven that level is reachable on the DS alone, it bothers me Nintendo doesn't want to bust it out yet.
A 6th-generation Pokemon game for the 3DS with actual 3D graphics (ala Dragon Quest IX) would be amazing. Not going to happen, though.
@kencosgrove: Masuda outright said it was based on Manhattan, and many of the actual Pokemon designs were outsourced to James Turner of Nintendo of America to give them a more American feel, so I don't think it's much to say that's what Game Freak was going for.
@Link2010: In a world where Apple charges $9000 for its products and some of the best applications are four quarters each, let's not be quick to label anyone else's pricing "retarded" :P.
@Slagathorian: Save the trees and kill the children.: "Why don't we just assume that the next 15 consoles from Nintendo and Sony respectively will be handled exactly like the 64 and PSX. "
@Matthew Weflen: That would be UTTERLY AMAZING.
$250 would be an interesting, potentially Nintendo-challenging price point, especially if any of the cards they've been playing are actually part of the launch lineup.
@kareem01899: Thank you.
Honestly? I'm pretty excited for the NGP. I actually like the UI a lot, the double thumbsticks are a blessing, and that weird touch panel thing on the back looks interesting.
@d4rk-h4x0rer: If Nintendo was willing to push the envelope with $250, I'm pretty scared of what Sony would like to charge for its "portable PS3".
WHAT THE HELL NEW KIRBY GAME.
