I am so irked that Black kids are viewed as adults at 10 and white folks can be kids ti they are 30.

I couldn’t agree more. There really needs to be a cleansing in the way police operate with the public and their overall power structure. A lot of the mess starts with the all too powerful unions they have. They literally can commit murder and their batshit crazy union chief backs them up wholeheartedly

You know what gets me? That whole “A Few Bad Apples” defense? It forgets the next like “A few bad apples... spoil the whole bunch.”. These departments, a LOT of departments, need to have a whole house cleaning, down to the fucking floor boards. Rip out all the training material. Rip out the senior officers. Start it

Or she wants to minimize the whole thing because she doesn’t want her kid to forever be associated with this controversy and wants it to go away? Which would be perfectly understandable.

I gave up soda for La Croix.

As long as we’re fantasizing about what Moore supporters and voters can’t ever do again, “breathing” is always at the top of my list. Or “not be publicly executed by medieval torture.” That kind of stuff.

Suits is a USA network show filmed in Vancouver.

Bi-racial children are caught in a duality of experience based on both. For instance, the writer had a white mother but from the picture and story provided we know a) his

First of all, it’s only a tell-all in that I go through and recant some of the beautiful nuances of our lives

As someone who grew up in Richland County, Ohio and then the very white suburbs of Columbus, this piece is basically telling my story. Almost everyone that I knew was the “I don’t see color but you’re not like those other black people but please stay away from our daughters and sisters” type of white person and it

When a racist bitch threatens to shoot you in the face and then actually puts her hands on you you’re not looking too far for a fight because it has found you :-)

What is further frustrating about an article like Klien’s is there is a nonchalant approach to his epiphany. As if he was blind before, and now he can see. That’s wonderful but.............

It is bonkers to me that a many-times-over millionaire who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, brags about his Ivy League education, spent his life in liberal elite NYC AND has a long-ass history of just straight up not paying people he hired became the spokesperson for the working class. Just complete insanity.

You tried it... I never lived in a ghetto EVER.. and my black ass family said all of this... and we are well-educated. And please don’t act like Africans can’t be hood as hell.
