@schall129: A scramjet doesn't have enough compression until mach 3-4, so the turbojet is needed to get it up to that speed since it can provide its own compression. If the railgun could get it to Mach 4, this would make more sense, but there's way too much air at sea level for this to be possible. Even at 60-80k

Interesting... cut NASA's funding and instantly they start getting smart about saving this thing we call "money."

@horseflesh: Maybe next time Google should "air" on the side of caution when taking pictures of peoples undies.

@gary_7vn: Seriously, if she were concerned about it, she wouldn't put them on display for her NEIGHBORS. Suing Google is a complete non-sequitur.

@Terry: No? Does Linux have to be difficult as a requisite? What do you mean?

@crazypills77: To be completely honest, there aren't many "killer" apps that should make you use it, but more the vast collection of free, open-sourced apps that will do nearly anything you need that should be considered. In my opinion, the grain of salt here is that there really is no replacement for Adobe products.

Hmmmm.... The mocaps and textures themselves are pretty spot-on, but the shaders need some hardcore work. Everything looks WAY too waxy... It's all for nothing if they don't get the textures looking right!

@Sprzout: DUUUUUUDE, I was just thinking that yesterday! Lighthouse was another favorite—don't think that one was as popular though.

@Mr_Quackers: Hopefully not much :-/ Seems like it has the potential to suck a lot more power, but that doesn't mean that it will when it's idle. A nice low-voltage kernel and 1,500 mAh battery should help, though.

@Swamp7hing: Haha seriously... Not quite sure WHAT is going on there. Looks kinda cool though!

Hah, literally zero comments about the fact that the cop obviously WANTED this guy to jump. Pretty awesome, but I'm surprised no one's bitching about it!

For those wanting simple sync (to use, this one's not so fun to set up), SwiFTP on the phone and lftp on the computer are pretty sweet. Click SwiFTP, click start, run sync script/batch on the computer, done. Simple. And it works over WiFi.

Nice... this thing falls flat on its face just like ASIMO, only it's NEWERER!
