A chair. Something that needs the large opening, but not necessarily the height. I have always thought my 318ti was 3 door hatch, I guess it’s a liftback? Anyway I’ve put a chair in there and helped my friend move his full toolbox drawers. Much easier than it would have been with a sedan IMO.
Hell, I think they could throw a NA 4-cyl in there and make it interesting. Take the 2.5l, bore and/or stroke, more aggressive cam profile. Hopefully good for 240hp. Build it on a modified MX-5 chassis for a sick lightweight coupe, and make it slightly more premium. Basically, it would be a BRZ but way better,…
Point taken. There was added stiffness from a cage, and weight reduction from seats (presumably). However, it’s pretty much the standard for ring times to have seats and a cage. Every advertized ring time is a best case scenario for the car.
BMW is trying to appeal to the Chinese. China’s history as a communist country means that they have a different eye for design. They look for the gaudy shit. Gaudy=opposite of communist design.
LED retrofit are actually not a safe choice, generally speaking. They don’t produce enough heat inside the light to melt the snow off the headlight lense. So driving in the snow with LED headlights is a bad idea (I’m sure the OEMs have figured this out on the factory LED headlights)
