Good points. If the setting were Ireland rather than Scotland would the UK still not air it? I mean, the Irish (shout out to my peeps in Castlebar & Galway!) have enjoyed independence since 1922.

Ron Moore does a podcast for each episode that you can play while you rematch the episode. It is really interesting to hear some of the reasons why they do what they do. His wife (the costume designer) also does it with him, so that is also fun. The podcast for this episode isn't out yet, but I think in the video…

Should you keep them on a leash? It takes less than 2 seconds to go from standing to falling over a couch. For all you know, they immediately corrected the child and made him wait patiently.
