My experience of a couple years with a 2014 550i was that it drank oil for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All covered under the lease but service dept just laughed.

Doesn’t every hybrid charge while breaking? (Volt, Plug in Prius, and X5 40e all do).

I know everyone here hates leasing but for people that don’t want to fix their own cars, and don’t have a good mechanic, leasing is a wonderful option.

I’ve had 3 plug-ins now (Volt, Prius, X5) and here’s a little secret for the more daring - keep an extension cord in the trunk.
