When it was introduced I registered my interest as a RHD Corvette-engined, Zagato-bodied (OK, not hand-formed aluminium but lets disregard this) and HTA-built (so pretty close to me!) car for ~50,000€ was very tempting to me, even with the ridiculous taxes over here.

Not since 1946.

Thanks for the sticker shot.

I have to admit that C.A. Pinkham was pretty much the only writer I read on Jezebel, when Kitchenette closed I followed him to his new place, and then to the other new one.

That’s likely because you block Facebook content (like I do) as this is on Facebook video.

Well, how about “Mercedes-Benz Coupé Leicht Kurz Gran Turismo Rennwagen”?

Bentley likes to imagine that its customers will use this to chill a bottle of “fine champagne,” which I’m in full support of.

Here’s a superior South African model:

Now, when the truck is full of water, that can weigh close to a ton, which is why most trucks aren’t really all that well suited to do this.

Please make a 180kW version, would spare me from the 25% duty on electric cars over 180kW...

Sorry, can’t help you there. Same reason as usual, not RHD and from after 1970...

I fly a lot for work, all over the world; for example in a one month period earlier this year I was up there for the equivalent of an entire week! It’s just something that you think about once and it becomes an habit (I also happen to have lost a friend in a plane crash).

That’s why I usually keep my passport, credit cards and cash in my pockets, I wear a light jacket most of the time for this very purpose; no need to reach for my carry-on in case of emergency.

Well, how about a South African-made CAV GT+?
