Doug, I don’t know where you are planning to go on honeymoon when that whole “wedding” thingamajib is done but I can recommend Mauritius Island, as I live there.

While I have never owned a BMW car (I came close to getting a E36/8 M Coupe but the owner totaled it shortly before I was supposed to buy it...) I do have a BMW-engined car, my MG ZT being equipped with a M47R (slightly different from the M47 itself).

Would be nice if they could produce it as a kind of special edition, like Toyota did with the ZZW3-based VM180 Zagato and Modellista Caserta.

Of course, but most people probably wouldn’t mistake this for a coach.

Rolls-Royces used to have them strapped in the trunk too (they were, after all, mostly Bentleys with different badges, or vice versa), the in-door one started with the BMW-era Phantom if I remember correctly.

Try not to think about masculine and feminine tenses in Romance languages, please, as Le Head may Le Explode.

Eh, the P1800 was originally British-built.

Yeah.

I have been in the U.S. a grand total of one time (last year).

The S600 is a 5.5 twin-turbo M275 one.

Now playing

You don’t need a Syclone, just ask Luca Cordero di Montezemollo about the time a black Golf GTI beat his yellow 348 in a traffic light race.

You know what?

Plus they make V12s, they just have to cut one in half, right?

Yep, pre-facelift looked much better, same with the Rapide.

...wait a minute, a GLA Coupe?

It’s the Bertone-designed Jaguar B99:

Sounds like they could use it as a basis for an ever more upmarket Daimler model.

I love Alcantara on seats (doorcards are fine too), not a fan regarding other surfaces.

Obviously the Nissan Bakkie (né Datsun Sunny Truck), it stayed in production for 37 years!

Great value, that’s roughly what a double cab Ranger Wildtrack with the 3.2 diesel I5 costs here.
