Full disclosure... I am completely biased when it comes to X4. It was the first to use the anime cut scenes, so that introduced me to Japanese animation which I had not experienced before. I also was really fond of the soundtrack and the plot... With respect to the whole reploids having sentient qualities and whatnot.
