My future cousins-in-law recently married. They banned all children. Their RSVP asked if they were bringing kids. If so, they asked if they could make accommodations to leave them with other people. If not, they were not able to attend the wedding.

It’s both insipid, and not amusing seeing how schools still tend to operate like small prisons and that administrators/teachers alike see their students like sub-humans. They are growing, they may have not fully-matured, but these are people. This whole situation just brings back painful reminders of when my friends…

I think you can contend your points that you are in control of your child’s internet usage/social media presence without being condescending and implying that other’s are deficient in their parenting styles.

Mine certainly didn’t. We did have a good amount of former students come back and pretend to be cops and administrators.
