Jesus; that’s horrifying. I hate to bring Jimmy’s parents into this awful narrative, but what parent in their right mind would let their young child act in out such traumatizing scenes in such a disturbing movie??

Let’s not forget that Argento is using a dead man who can’t speak for himself to defend herself. A man who committed suicide within hours of photos of her cheating on him were published. She then used Rose McGowan to give tell to the lie they were in an open relationship.

I guess a $380,000 settlement with verified complaints (meaning it’s been sworn under oath under penalty of perjury) isn’t enough evidence either.

Have you actually seen “The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things”?? Its two hours of straight up hard-to-watch child abuse. I dont see how a child actor could be on that set without being very badly disturbed at the very least considering the deeply fucked up material he was performing.

I feel like there should be a way to have a nuanced conversation about abusers also being victims. For example, the priests raping children are part of a multi-century system of abuse. Asia Argento appears to be going for all the tried and true methods employed by men when exposed as rapists/abusers. What a mess of a situation. Then to throw Anthony Bourdain into the mix, as if that somehow diminishes her responsibility in this manner. 

We lose Bourdain and get stuck with her.

Yes she really wasted no time in injecting him into the narrative. 

She’s absolutely disgusting and no different from any man who’s been accused of the same. There was a clear power imbalance and she took full advantage. There’s also something to be said about a person who would inculpate a deceased person (Bourdain) who cannot defend himself. She’s trash and I hope she faces charges.
