Yes. I love Jessica Jones because it dealt with the aftermath of trauma, it did it in a real way, despite the fantastic elements; and showed how women deal with fear, anxiety, and brokenness - all sorts of different women, too.

Honestly if I’m watching something and someone gets raped I instantly turn it off. I just fucking can’t anymore. Why would I watch that for entertainment? I’m trying to make enjoyable choices when it comes to entertainment and it doesn’t entertain me to see sexual assault.

Agreed. Also I guarantee you that most men saying shit like this look like spoiled mashed potatoes with hair plugs.

Aw, shucks.

I am a producer and as such know that you go through the casting agent, especially when bringing in friends, so that no ones feelings get hurt when the 💸 offer goes out or negotiations commence.

Some dude called me an old bitch (I was like 32, he was def 40+) after I rolled my eyes and shook my head at his weak-ass come on. I was just like “hahahahahahahahahaha yup”.

First Wolff and now this. Seems like Maggie’s BIG DONALD BOOK is destined to either get scooped by competitors or overshadowed by colleagues’ more substantive efforts.

I realized a couple of years ago that a decent amount of the revulsion men put on older women has to do with he fact that older women are typically less likely to put up with bullshit.

It’s easier to pull shit on a 15-year old than a 30-year old. They’ve less experience, maturity, and understanding of themselves and what they do or don’t want in relationships and sex.

Yeah, I think it’s this exactly. Many of these women were participating in his acting programs, so he already has a mentor/teacher relationship with them with uneven power dynamic where come-ons would obviously catch them off guard and confuse them due to the existing relationship. And apparently the one woman was

Younger women, or in this case, children, are easier to manipulate and control.

Is he really though...or does he just want people to think that because he doesn’t want to have any association with Woody Allen? (can’t blame him for that, right?) He’s apparently had some plastic surgery and he wears contacts...I don’t know.

Hahaha I mean it’s so obvious does there even need to be a conversation though?

“With his angelic good looks, celebrity DNA and uncommon intelligence, Farrow was always tipped for greatness,”

Colbert is one of the small circle of men I think of and say to myself, “Please, please, please, don’t let them get named.” Colbert, Obama, most of the cast of Thor Ragnarok, Assorted Hot British Actors, and, once upon a time, Al Franken. Damn it.

I wonder if part of this is about women who would rather believe they were seduced than assaulted. It’s often easier to act like you were a willing participant than accept the reality. And if you are a woman of a certain age, it had to be damn near impossible to escape predators.

I love this post.

Man, I’m in my early 30s and I see this plain as day. It’s like the majority men of my generation are either complacent or delusional (it could also be that I live in Vegas where lots of “professional” poker players congregate). I’ve decided that if I can’t find someone who’s on a similar wavelength, I have to keep

As I sit here with my boyfriend who I love, I have to agree with you. Men are a lot of thankless work. I like sex with them and a certain amount of companionship, but they are so draining and give so little back.
