Not to pander to the writers, but it kind of has to be the Miata, right? In my lifetime, I think it’s the only purpose-built convertible in production. Everything else is a car that somebody took the top off of.

Yup. It’s not as noticeable in black, where the massive windows kind of blend in with the rest of the car. But in white? It’s like a greenhouse on wheels, especially from the back.

Spot on. 1) yes, it’s not really that different from a lifted impreza hatch. 2) yes, it’s tragically underpowered. A modest boost would make this thing miles more appealing.
